Ley, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026.Born on December 20, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Irene Williams.Carol was a loving and dedicated mother to Sean (Carrie) Ley, Tara Schermock, and Kerry Ley. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in each of their accomplishments and milestones. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Michael (Becca) Schermock, Cy (Jessica) Schermock, and Andrew Schermock, and she found great joy in watching her family grow through the generations. Carol was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Rylee Meisner.She was preceded in death by her beloved grandchildren, Freddy and Ryan Meisner, whom she held dearly.Carol is survived by her loving siblings, Roy (Trish) Williams and Nancy Williams. She was a devoted aunt to Brittany, Ashley, and Shane, and a proud great-aunt to Tatum, Jack, Quinn, Luke, Charlotte, Esmé, and Atlas.Carol will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her gentle spirit, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and devotion.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Commonwealth Hospice.She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
