Carmen Rosa Restrepo passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in 1950 in Cali, Colombia, she emigrated to the United States in 1970 and raised her family in Philadelphia.

Carmen was a devoted mother and grandmother who took great pride in caring for her family. She worked for many years at Sears and Sam’s Club, where she formed many lasting friendships. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jairo Restrepo.

She will be deeply missed by her three children, Lirda Restrepo, Yvette Carr and her husband Paul, and Fabian Restrepo and his wife Michelle. Carmen is also lovingly remembered by her cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Justin, Fabian, and Olivia. She is survived by her mother, Argenis Villota of Colombia; her sister, Teresita Villota of Whitehall, Pennsylvania; as well as several siblings in Colombia, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Carmen enjoyed cooking, dancing, listening and singing along to music, tending to her houseplants, and watching television. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, finding her greatest joy in being “Abuelita” and “Grandmom” to her beloved grandchildren.
