Carmen Quiles

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carmen Quiles, 81, of Worcester, who passed on Sunday, February 22, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Born July 18, 1944, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Carmen was the daughter of the late Ana Quiles.

Carmen enjoyed crocheting, gardening, playing dominos, watching movies, listening to music and spending time with family, friends and her dog Reyna.

Carmen is survived by her loving children, Richard, Andy, Freddy, Walter Gonzalez; her grandchildren, Appolonia, Andy Jr, Jazmine, Richard, Jacob, Zuleyka, Anthony, Jared, Elky, Anibal, Dennise, Vianney, Kayla, Brandon, Marc, Exevier; her great grandchildren, Yareli, Zyesha, Jeovanny Jr, Zaidyn, Zaivyon, Jenesis, Zynovia, Lucas, Oliver, Josiah, Alina, Vianneliz. Carmen also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Carmen (Yiyi), Luz Maria; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Carmen will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:30a.m. in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Following the service Carmem will be laid to rest in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Friends and family are welcomed to gather prior to services at the funeral home for 10:00a.m.
