Carmela M. Petrucelli Carmela M. "Bunny" Petrucelli, age 87, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Orange Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Orange. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Petrucelli, Sr. Born in Bridgeport on April 15, 1938, she was the only child of the late James P. and Carmella M. (Squezello) Fellows. She was employed by the Milford Board of Education at Jonathan Law High School for many years and also at the Milford Jai Alai fronton before her retirement. She was a wonderful cook and loved sunflowers and chocolate fudge. She was a great fan of her children's and grandchildren's baseball, softball and soccer teams, UConn Women's basketball, MLB Spring Training, the Boston Red Sox and Neil Diamond. A loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Carmela is survived by her loving children, Robert (Bob) Petrucelli, Jr. and his wife Mary Shropshire of West Haven, Mark Petrucelli of Milford, Tammy Petrucelli and her spouse Susan Brown of West Haven, Jamie Petrucelli and his wife Karen of Boca Raton, Florida; her cherished grandchildren, Jules Petrucelli of North Branford, Chris Petrucelli and his spouse Brianna of Hyde Park, New York; her grandchildren's aunt, Patty "Ciocia Pat" Denis; and her longtime, devoted best friend Linda (Roger) St. Cyr of Milford. The family would like to extend their deep gratitude for the care Carmela received from all of her doctors, nurses, and support staff during her lifetime. Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Orange Rehabilitation and Health Care Center or to the charity of one's choice.
