Carman Pate Jr.

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carman Pate Jr. (Wichita, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Pate and Carman H. Pate, Sr.; and his sister Carol Strait. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Pate; his children, Britt Pate (Colleen) and Rebecca Mercer (Shawn); his siblings, Cindy Cachard (Don) and Craig Pate (Jenny); his grandchildren, Justin Pate, Adam Pate (Magdalena), Nathan Adkins, Alyssa "Liz" Adkins, Jacob Adkins and Steele Mercer; and his great grandchildren, Ella Fox and Max Fox.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the River Community Church (2130 N Oliver St, Wichita, KS 67208).
