He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leite and Maria Leite (Mello); and his siblings, Conceição Leite and Pedro Leite. He is survived by: his wife Dinesia Leite (DeMelo); his children, Jessica Rockwood (Joshua), Nicole Leite (Jason) and Derek Leite (Christine); his siblings, Joseph Leite, Eulalia Curley, Albert Leite, Helen DeSousa, Robert Leite and Rosie Leite; and his grandchildren, Makenzi, Gianna McDaniels, Laci Rockwood, Carter and Cameron Leite. He is also survived by grandchildren, "Tio Carlos" to his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Anthony Church (126 School St, Taunton, MA 02780).
