Carla Ann Martin

Carla Ann Martin, 69, passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2026 with family by her side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Carl Pittinger and Theresa Moledar-Pittinger, she resided in the Tallmadge and Akron areas all of her life. Carla enjoyed vintage car shows, playing bingo, attending concerts, tending to her plants, playing Hayday and spending time with loved ones as well as her animals.

Carla will be sadly missed by her children, Richard (Melissa) Doyle, Crystal Doyle (Kenneth Miller II); grandchildren, Desiree (Daniel), Jordan, Brittany (Miranda), Kane, Kaidence, Sylas.

Carla spent the last five years with her devoted partner, Orin Rorabeck, and together they shared a relationship filled with love, laughter, and companionship.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd.

One of Carla's simple joys in life was a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino from Starbuck's. If you find yourself with one in hand, take a moment to sip, smile and remember her.
