With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carl Scharder of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carl left this world on March 6, 2026 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Scharder and Agnes Scharder; and his wife Karen Ammon Scharder. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Scharder of Lock Haven, Brenda Probst (Chris) of Woolrich and Lori Thompson (Jason) of Cogan Station; his grandchildren, Blake Marsh (Devin) of Avis, Haley Corbett (Josh) of Mill Hall, Michael Probst (Lauren) of Bellefonte, Sabrina Thompson (Frankie) of Oval, Matthew Probst of Woolrich and Alexis Thompson (Joe) of Jersey Shore; and his great grandchildren, Stella Hilty, Lux Corbett, Reid Hilty and Leila "Joycie" Robinson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Scharder Farm.
