Carl Lee Michael, 83, of Siloam Springs, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Quail Ridge Living Center.
Born on October 5, 1942, in Wayne, Missouri, Carl was the son of Lester Leon Michael and Ada Lee Michael. He married Mary Jane Hughes in 1962, and together they shared 63 devoted years. Carl moved to Siloam Springs where he worked for Dyke’s Lumber, which later became Michael’s Building Supplies. After the business closed, he continued working for Anderson Lumber in Siloam Springs. He found joy in collecting and shooting guns, reloading ammunition, tackling building projects, reading Louis L’Amour novels, and sharing meals with those he loved. A longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church, Carl lived a steady, hands-on life rooted in family and simple pleasures.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Don Michael, Kenneth Michael, and Wilma Dean Tillman.
Carl is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Michael, of the home; his three sons, John Michael and wife Cheri, Ron Michael and wife Kim, and Manville Michael and wife Melissa; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
