Carl L. Pirro

Carl L. Pirro, age 85, of Meadville, formerly of Saegertown, passed away on March 13, 2026, at his residence.

Born in Corry on April 3, 1940, Carl was the son of Carlo and Carmella (Martino) Pirro. A 1958 graduate of Corry Area High School, he went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University at Buffalo in 1962. He continued his studies at Gannon University in Electronic Couriers and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

On September 25, 1965, he married Joan C. Garrison, who survives him after 60 years of marriage. Carl worked for 18 years as a distributor sales manager at Spectrum Control before becoming the owner and operator of Multi Phase Components for 10 years. A longtime member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, he found great joy in fishing and sports.

In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by his children, Dana Deissler and her husband Scott of Meadville, and Steven Pirro of Plano, Texas; his grandchildren, John Deissler and his wife Bethany of Danville, Pennsylvania, and Megan Deissler of Washington, D.C.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Angelina Hajec, Jane Jaworski, Carmella Kovach, Mary Pirro, Jeannette Pirro, Joseph Pirro, and his twin brother, John Pirro.
