Gnadenhutten, OH

Carl Edward Grossenbaugh of Gnadenhutten passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on July 27, 1938 to Frank and Oda (Gibbs) Grossenbaugh, he grew up on the family farm in Spring Mt., Ohio. Carl dedicated more than five decades to his work, serving 23 years as foreman for the City of Coshocton Sewage Department and then 32 years as foreman for Ohio Mining Reclamation in Cambridge before retiring.

He is survived by his daughter, Penny (Dana) Landis; son, Kim Workman; granddaughters, Alisha (Ryan) Wilson, Paige and William Smith, McKenzie (Doran) Moore, Jennifer (Christian) Workman, and Eliza Garrett; great-grandchildren, Hayden Wilson, Blaine Wilson, Kendal Meyers, Wesley Smith, Roman Patrick, and Lincoln Snodgrass; and son-in-law, Skip Landis. His family remains deeply grateful for the loving care provided by his granddaughter Paige Smith, his aide Louise Billiter, and the team at Hospice Care.
