Carl Blaine Braun, 63, of Minot, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Born on March 14, 1962, in Minot, he was the son of Robert and Evangeline (DeLorme) Braun. Raised and educated in his hometown, Carl spent more than 26 years working alongside his brother at Bob’s Maintenance and Remodeling. Known for his meticulous craftsmanship and strong work ethic, he approached every project with pride and a perfectionist’s attention to detail.
Carl found deep satisfaction in the outdoors, whether fishing, sharing cookouts with family and friends, or tending to his yard, which he kept impeccably groomed. He had a lifelong love for 80s rock music and possessed a wonderful sense of humor that kept those around him laughing. Above all, Carl was remembered for his generous spirit, big heart, and unwavering loyalty. He was always quick to offer help and support to anyone in need.
He cherished his time with his life partner, Missy, his daughter Breanna, and his grandchildren, finding special joy in playing horseshoes with them and creating lasting family memories. Carl was a devoted and dependable presence in the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Breanna (Scot Smith) Braun; grandchildren, Adonis Smith, Nadia Smith, and Nyomi Sanderson; brothers, Bryan (Valerie) Braun, Ed (Chris) Braun, Robert C (Carolyn) Braun, and Russel Braun; sister, Debra Person; life partner, Missy McNamara, and her children, Zachary Fedorenko, Dustin McNamara, and Brandon McNamara; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
