Cara Mae Suchman

We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Cara Mae Suchman of Fredericktown, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lycurgus Whitlock and Alberta Whitlock (Close); her husband Edward P. Suchman Sr.; her sisters, Mary Jo Otis, Phyllis Fresen and Jessie Castegnaro; and her daughter-in-law Eva "Renee" Suchman.

She is survived by: her children, Edward P. Suchman Jr. (Suzanne) and Evelyn Chalfant (Scott); her grandchildren, Dan Newkirk (Mindy), Zach Newkirk, Kaitlyn Sallee and Max Chalfant; her great grandchildren, Theo and Korie; and her sister Doris Oliver.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ the King Community Church (15598 McClelland Rd, Fredericktown, OH 43019). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
