Candice Allison Alexander

Candice Allison Alexander, age 45, of Hartwell, Georgia, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on October 26, 1980, in Anderson, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Margaret Massey Vassar and the late Billy Frank Morrison.

In addition to her father, Candice was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Kevin Alexander, and her brother, Nick Vassar.

She is survived by her three daughters, MacKenzie Alexander, Annaleigh Alexander, and Callie Alexander (Marshall Mong); her stepfather, Wallace Vassar; her sister, Marcie Cleveland (Brad); her brothers, Kevin Morrison (Beth) and Kevin Vassar (Allie); her grandmother, Jan Temples Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

Candice was a fiercely independent woman who owned and operated Mize’s Creations. She cherished her daughters above all and found great joy in the companionship of her three beloved dogs, Sweetie, Mia, and Nala.
