It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Camille L. Smith of Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 80, on March 7, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Camille may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Camille touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McComb and Mary Bradley McComb; and her nephew Nicholas McComb. She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Lisa Finn [JJ] of Powell, Ohio, Andrew Smith [Becky] of Powell, Michael Smith [Stephanie] of Lakeland, Florida and Dr. Daniel Smith [Katie] of Westerville, Ohio; and her brother Dr. John S. McComb [Geri] of Greensboro. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren (with another on the way), 2 step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory (1661 Western Ave, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Walnut Street United Methodist Church (16 S Walnut St, Chillicothe, OH 45601).
