Cameron J. Carson
August 7, 1977— March 4, 2026
Cameron J. Carson, born on August 7, 1977, passed away on March 4, 2026. A proud 1995 graduate of Evans High School, Cameron lived a life marked by quiet compassion, humility, and deep faith in God. His faith shaped the way he treated others with consistent kindness and grace.
Following his father’s example, Cameron served honorably in the U.S. Army. That experience deepened his sense of purpose and reinforced the values of dedication and service that defined his character and his family. He carried those same qualities into every part of his life.
Cameron possessed a wonderful sense of humor and an easy ability to connect with people. Though soft-spoken by nature, he never met a stranger and built lasting friendships across the country. He was a passionate Civil War history enthusiast who enjoyed sharing his knowledge, and he was an avid gamer who regularly gathered with a large community of friends. Above all, he was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving parents, John and Dovie Carson, and his cherished sisters, Meghan Bishop (and husband Henry Bishop Jr.) and Darla Beale (and husband Ken). He took great pride in being a doting uncle to his niece and nephews, CJ Bishop, Hank Bishop III, and Libby Claire Bishop. Cameron also shared a special bond with his second mother, Ms. Elizabeth Wilson, who played a significant role in his upbringing. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and other family members who will miss him deeply.
Those who knew Cameron will remember a generous, warm-hearted man whose quiet strength and genuine care left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
