Caleb Long

West Point- James Caleb Long, age 32, passed from this earthly life into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 13, 2026. Born on January 31, 1994, in Rogers, Arkansas, he was the beloved son of Glen and Debra Long.

Caleb had a deep passion for music and found great joy in playing his guitar. A gifted and talented musician, he shared his love of music with those around him, inspiring many through both his creativity and the sincerity of his spirit.

He also found peace and happiness in the outdoors. Caleb enjoyed spending time tending to his garden and took great pride in watching the things he planted grow and flourish. Among his greatest companions was his beloved dog, Lizzie, who brought him constant comfort and loyalty.

Caleb will be remembered for his gentle heart, his creative soul, and the quiet ways he brought joy and encouragement to those who knew him. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

"To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord."

He is survived by his father, Glen Long of Tupelo; mother, Debbie Long of West Point; sisters, Maryglen Long of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jennie Long of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jana Long of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Amanda Nelms of Brandon, and Kristy Dye of Caledonia; grandfather, James. E. Long of Saltillo; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
