Preserve forever →Caleb Korhonen
April 17, 2013— February 25, 2026
Salt Lake City, UT
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Caleb Korhonen, who left us far too soon on February 25, 2026, in Salt Lake City. Born on April 17, 2013, in Ogden, Utah, Caleb touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Caleb was a young soul with an infectious spirit and an unyielding zest for life. His passions were as vivid and diverse as his smile. Whether immersed in the exhilarating worlds offered by his PS5 Pro, adventuring on hikes with his beloved dogs, creating heartfelt music, or cheering passionately for the Dodgers baseball team, Caleb lived fully and loved deeply. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his family; their laughter and love were the soundtrack to his days.
The loss of Caleb leaves an irreplaceable void, yet his memory will forever shine brightly through the love and joy he imparted. His family—his devoted parents Thomas and Amanda, his brother Jayden, and sister Alexandra—along with his aunts Tiffany and Emily, uncles Justin and Jason, grandparents Tom and Barbra, and cousins Jacob, Rylea, Olivia, Mason, and Ryan, mourn his passing with heavy hearts. They hold dear the precious times shared, finding solace in the bonds that remain strong despite their grief.
A visitation will be held on March 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed immediately by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Both will take place at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery located at 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84123. Friends and loved ones are invited to come together in remembrance and celebration of a life so beautifully lived.
Though Caleb’s journey was brief, the depth of his character and the light of his presence will endure eternally in the hearts he touched. May we all find comfort in remembering Caleb—the boy who played, explored, dreamed, and loved with an open heart—and may his spirit inspire us to embrace each day with the same passion and kindness he so effortlessly embodied.
