Jeannette (McCoury) Myers, age 84, of East Berlin, passed away at UPMC Hanover on March 6, 2026. She was the loving wife of Raymond Laverne Myers; together they shared 67 years of marriage.Jeannette was born in York, PA on July 1, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland McCoury and Hazel (Hughes) McCoury. She was a dedicated and devoted wife and mother and enjoyed working alongside her husband on their family farm all while looking after their home. Jeannette was a selfless woman who constantly put others before herself. She was a devoted woman of Christian faith and attended First Baptist Church of Hanover with her husband. Jeannette will be remembered as a wonderful cook and baker and fondly remembered for her delicious pies. Above all, she cherished her loving family and grandchildren and the time she spent with them.In addition to her loving husband Laverne, Jeannette is survived by her children Randy Myers and wife Dawn, Martin Myers and wife Diane, Joe Myers and wife Shirla, and Denise Evert; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Margaret Hoover, Del McCoury and wife Jean, and Jerry McCoury and wife Cindy. Jeannette was preceded in death by her siblings G.C. McCoury and Vivian McCoury.A Funeral Service in celebration of Jeannette's life will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 2:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Pastor Gary Buchman officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Trinity (Roth's) Church Cemetery in Spring Grove.
