He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Vincent and Gettis Wood; his wife Molly Lohr Wood; his brother Dr. David Gardner Wood (Brad Barrios) of Sante Fe; his daughters, Emily Grace Wood (Connor Madden) of Marshall and Sarah Wood Brennecke (Taylor Brennecke); and his granddaughters, Molly Rhett Brennecke and Harriette Grace Brennecke.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223).
