Burton Charles Wilson, Jr.

Mr. Burton Charles Wilson, Jr., age 71, husband of Carolyn Leigh Gulledge Wilson, of 131 Hancock Dr., Union, passed away March 7, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House in Spartanburg.

Mr. Wilson was born April 3, 1954, in Lewes, DE, a son of the late Burton Charles Wilson, Sr. and Irene Voss Wilson. He was a truck driver, having driven for several firms over his career, but last drove for Josh Armstrong Trucking. Mr. Wilson loved to fish, travel and share places that he had discovered in his travels with his family and loved to explore flea markets. While in Union, he and his wife had attended Ottaray Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of 33 years, Carolyn, Mr. Wilson is survived by a daughter, Makayla Knox and grandchildren, Bentley Knox, Brooklyn Knox, Sunny Dickard, Theodore Dickard and Shiloh Dickard.

The family is at the home, 131 Hancock Dr., Union, SC 29322.
