Buffus Jackson, 93, of Preston, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
A lifelong resident of the Preston area, Buffus was a devoted father and grandfather whose quiet strength and steadfast presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He took great pride in his family and cherished the bonds he shared with his children and their descendants.
He is survived by his children, Stanley Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia, Tim Jackson of Preston, Mississippi, and Denice Rhodes of South Holland, Illinois; seven grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Pastor Wayne Ben officiated the services.
