He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenore Bliss Coskey and Charles Allen Coskey; and his brother Charles Allen Coskey, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Murray Coskey; his children, Julian B Coskey Jr. (Anne) and Shari Lyn Coskey (Heidi Link); his grandchildren, Julia Coskey Cole, Andrew Zelsman Coskey, Emerson Link Coskey and Miller Coskey Link; his great grandchildren, William Robert Cole, Catherine Clara Cole, Henry Coskey Cole, Elizabeth Lyle Coskey, Lee Anderson Coskey and Robert Archibald Coskey; and his caregivers, Bubba, Lexi, Marie, Fatmatta, Fatoumata and LaTracia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 6:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapelwood United Methodist Church (11140 Greenbay St, Houston, TX 77024).
