Bryce Ramthun ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Peterson Chapel – Buffalo on Mar. 3, 2026.July 17, 1979 – March 1, 2026Bryce Edward Ramthun, age 46, of rural Buffalo passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.He was born on July 17, 1979 in Buffalo the son of Burton E. & Marlene M. (Adickes) Ramthun.Bryce was baptized on August 19, 1979 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church-Crawford Lake.He was also instructed in the Lutheran catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith on May 10, 1993 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church-Crawford Lake.His confirmation memory verse was John 8: 31,32 "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1997. Bryce later attended Dunwoody Institute.Bryce was employed in housing construction for many years.He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Bryce also played softball.He was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church-Crawford Lake.Survived by a son: Alex Ramthun of Delano; his parents: Burton & Marlene Ramthun of Buffalo; sisters: Vicki Maas of Monticello and Lea Ramthun of Lewisville, Texas; a niece: Kaylan Wurm and her significant other Jesse Zachman; nephews: Maddox Battle and Warren & Griffen Zachman of Big Lake; step-son: Jayson Gorton of Delano; special friend: Theresa Schultz of Delano; aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.Preceded in death by his grandparents Henry & Gladys Ramthun and Clarence & Dorothy Adickes.Funeral services for Bryce Ramthun will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montrose. Pastor James Grabitske will officiate.A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th AT THE CHURCH in Montrose from 4-8 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Saturday morning, March 7th at the church in Montrose from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.Honorary Casket Bearers will be Megan Stuckmayer-Lehrke and Evan Soeffker.Casket Bearers will be Jason Ramthun, Randy Adickes, Dusty Epple, Wade Epple, Darin Adickes, Daryl Adickes, Jake Duske and Aaron Duske.The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo is serving the family.
