Bryan Turner, age 68, of Greenfield, passed away on March 4, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Beech Grove, Indiana, on March 1, 1958, to Ed Turner Sr. and Shirley (Barnes) Turner, he graduated from New Palestine High School and later earned a bachelor’s degree from Ozark Christian College. He married Tina Wilbur on October 19, 1980, in Avon, Indiana.
A man of deep patriotism and faith, Bryan served three years in the United States Army and devoted much of his life to ministry. He pastored small churches in Missouri, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Indiana, while also giving generously of his time to homeless outreach ministries in Indianapolis. He held a lifelong passion for wrestling, serving many years as an official with the Indiana High School Athletic Association and traveling with Team Indiana to officiate in Australia. He also coached varsity wrestling at Triton Central High School, where his team won a sectional championship, and later at Tri-High School. Above all, Bryan’s greatest joy was his family, and he treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren.
