Bruce Wayne Duffy was born on December 19, 1950, in Eureka, Humboldt, California, to Thomas S. Duffy and Frances Marie Prenatt. He passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Hair Duffy; his daughters, Erin Kane, Samala Duffy (Jeremy Cook), and Angie Jackson (John); and his son, Patrick Duffy. He is also survived by his sisters, Frances McChesney (H.D.) and Gladys Loeffler (John); grandchildren Shelby Morrison (Taylor), Madison Landaverde (David), Darby Broussard (Ryan), Devyn Cook, Dylan Cook, Cole Jackson, and Ryann Jackson; and great-grandchildren Victor, Allison, and Charles Morrison, Zelda, Luna, Cassie, and Emmarie Grace Landaverde, and Melody Joyce Broussard. He leaves behind his brothers-in-law, Larry Bowman (Sara), Bobby Hair (Teri), and Ray Hair, along with many nieces, nephews, and a household full of beloved cats. He was predeceased by Davey and Peggy Hair.

Throughout his life, Bruce found strength and redemption through his faith. In his testimony, he often shared how Jesus saved him from the evil one but most of all saved him from himself. An overcomer who remained deeply grateful and blessed, he loved the Lord and shared his testimony whenever and wherever he could.
