Bruce Bierkamp ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel - Grand Ledge on Mar. 17, 2026.Walter Bruce Bierkamp, 82, formerly from Grand Ledge, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, surrounded by his family in Dimondale, Michigan. He was a graduate of Lansing Eastern and worked as an Aircraft Technician with the 238th Aviation Regiment for the National Guard in Grand Ledge for over 35 years. Bruce enjoyed yardwork, sailing his Hobie Cat, snowmobiling, and riding his Harley.He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kelly Jo. He survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet, his daughters, Michelle (Dan) Hiscock and Kim (Nick) Hughett, his sister, Kathy Mikesell, and his grandchildren, Andy (Caelyn), Tristen, Halee, Braydan, and Jace.Bruce will be remembered for his love of his family, his quick wit, and a cold Yuengling.A Celebration of Life will be held at Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel in Grand Ledge on Saturday March 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:00pm to 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dimondale Nursing Care Center.
