Novak, age 73, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, NJ.Born on October 8, 1952, in Perth Amboy, Bruce has been a lifelong resident of the area, living in both Metuchen and Edison. After graduating from high school, Bruce went on to trade school for plumbing and worked for the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union.Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Boris and Joyce Novak.Surviving Bruce is his brother, Greg Novak; his nephew, Stephen Novak; his niece, Meredith Frost; his cousin, Carolyn Healey; his close friends, Marion Byrd and Amy Kuchma; and many more family and friends living in England.Visitation will take place Saturday, March 21, 2026, between the hours of 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863.
