Bruce A. Balcita Sr.
January 24, 1956— March 8, 2026
Manteca, CA
Bruce A. Balcita Sr. lived his life with strength, passion, and a deep love for the people and places that mattered most to him. He embraced life fully, whether competing on the field, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with the family he cherished above all else.
From a young age, Bruce was drawn to action and challenge. Sports were a way of life for him. He thrived on competition and discipline, whether driving the ball down a football field, working across a soccer pitch, or sharpening his focus through martial arts. He also found peace in nature. Camping trips, fresh air, and the quiet beauty of the natural world brought him joy. Around a campsite, he was in his element—tending a crackling fire, cooking for everyone gathered around, and sharing stories late into the night.
Above all, Bruce was devoted to his family. He was a steady presence in his children’s lives, offering support, encouragement, and guidance. His grandchildren brought him immense happiness, and he treasured every moment spent with them—teaching them about the outdoors, sharing laughter, and watching them grow.
Bruce is survived by his children, Bruce A. Balcita Jr. (Kelsey) and Alyssia Balcita; and his beloved grandchildren, Lily and Hazel Balcita, and Colin Bailey, Madison Bailey, Cashus Chambers, and Kadence Chambers. He is also survived by his siblings, Donald (Eva), David (Arylen), Paul (Debbie), Jeanette, and Jacklyn, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy carried forward by his family and all who knew him.
