Brooks Michael Baker

Brooks Michael Baker

July 20, 1995 March 4, 2026

Rogers, AR

Brooks Michael Baker, 30, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on March 4, 2026, at his home. Born on July 20, 1995, in Columbia, Missouri, to Mike and Karen (Hinton) Baker, Brooks grew up with a boundless curiosity and a deep love for the outdoors.

A graduate of Fayetteville High School, where he played on the golf team, Brooks worked as a carpenter for Rarebird Builders. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and craftsman who found joy in building things, solving problems, and creating with his hands. From childhood, he was happiest outside—cutting down trees, digging holes, and taking apart toys to see how they worked and to invent something new. Those same qualities defined him throughout his life. Brooks had a huge heart, a deep empathy for others, and a wicked sense of humor that could light up any room. He was a devoted and sweet son to his parents, a talented cook who could create wonderful meals without a recipe, and a loyal friend to many.

Though Brooks fought valiantly against addiction, those who loved him knew the goodness in his heart and the love he carried for his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Hinton and Virgil and Glenda Baker.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Karen Baker; his sister, Bailey Jane Baker; and his grandmother, Marjorie Hinton Pickle. Those who loved Brooks will carry his memory forward with love and grace, remembering him as the kind, funny, creative, and deeply empathetic man he truly was.
