Brian Servantez

Topeka, KS

Brian Servantez, age 50, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born on July 28, 1975, in Topeka, he was the son of Ernest Servantez and Bonnie (Comp) Florez.

Brian spent his career in automotive parts sales for several companies in the Topeka area, where he was known as a dependable and hardworking employee. He had a deep love for sports, especially his beloved Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs. Whether watching a game, talking about sports with friends and family, or proudly cheering on his teams, being a fan brought him great joy. He remained loyal through every season and every game, and those who knew him often joked that the color purple simply did not exist in his world.

Above all, Brian will be remembered for his kindness, his gentle spirit, and the quiet way he cared for the people around him. His warm heart and easygoing nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Paul Florez; his son, Brendan Servantez; his daughter, Selena Escalante; three grandchildren, Maleni, Isla, and Embyr Servantez; his brother, Sean Florez (Ashley); his sister, Maria Heydenreich (Bill); his brother, A.J. Servantez; his wife, Melissa Servantez; his paternal grandmother, Rita Servantez; and a large extended family. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Servantez; his grandson, Alexander Servantez; his brother, Jason Servantez; and his paternal grandfather, Anthony “Tony” Servantez.
