Denton, 50, of Columbus, passed from this life at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation.Mr. Denton was born June 6, 1975, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Jerry L. and Betty J. Hadley Denton.We celebrate the life of Brian S. Denton, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend.He leaves behind his cherished siblings, Kimberly (Roger) Rumbley of North Vernon, Cheryl (Max) Davis of Edinburgh, and Jerry R. Denton of Columbus; his nieces, Bridget Howell of Edinburgh and Emily Davis of Ingalls and his extensive family, including several aunts, uncles, and cousins.Those who knew Brian appreciated his creative spirit and his hands-on approach to life. His interests in various crafts were not just a pastime, but a way of connecting with others. He also enjoyed watching scary movies and listening to country music.As we bid farewell to Brian, we hold tight to the memories, knowing that his spirit will forever inspire and guide us.A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026, at Who So Ever Will Community Church with Pastor Randy Denton officiating.Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 12:00 p.m. to time of service Monday at the church.Following the service Brian's cremated remains will be laid to rest next to his parents at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.Memorial contributions may be to the donor's choice of charity.Arrangements by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home and Crematory.Condolences and special memories may be shared with the family and a video tribute may be viewed at barkesweaverglick.com
