Brian J. Tompkins

Brian J. Tompkins, 65, of Punxsutawney, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026, while at his home. Brian was born on Feb. 1, 1961, to the late Charles T. and Helen (Majewski) Tompkins in Rahway, New Jersey. Brian graduated from Rahway Area High School with the Class of 1979. He attended Union County Community College. Brian drove for the Amish, who became his friends. Brian was Catholic by faith and attended St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church in New Jersey. Brian loved Elton John and enjoyed collecting CDs and other merchandise. Brian is survived by his wife, Bonnie; two stepsons; eight step-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Andrade and Kathleen (Rob) Passmore; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friends Ester and Henry Coblentz; and mother-in-law Dorothy "Elaine" Carrigan. Brian was preceded in passing by his parents. Following Brian's wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fait – d'Argy Funeral Home, 117 N.
