He was predeceased by: his father Darnell Richard Curtis; and his grandparents, Leon, Annie Peace (Wise), Larnell and Loyce Curtis (Owens).

He is survived by: his mother Margaret Ann Peace Curtis; his significant other Rhonda; his children, Dante Hill of Bartlesville, Alexis Smith of Bartlesville, Calli Smith of Bartlesville, Brooke Smith (Dillon Bridges) of Bartlesville and Trenton Smith (Rylee Collier) of Nowata, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Wrenlee, Lincoln, Lawson and Ledger. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Benjamin Funeral Services (114 W Cherokee Ave, Nowata, OK 74048). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (433 N Mississippi St, Nowata, OK 74048).
