He was formerly employed as a radio announcer for WTTL 1310. He enjoyed doing home repairs, playing guitar and drums, and pastoring at many churches. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.He is survived by his wife Theresa Hobgood Mitchell of Madisonville; mother, Mildred Fulcher Minton; daughter, Rebecca Mitchell of Madisonville; sons, Keith (Ashley) Mitchell of Earlington, KY, and Aaron Mitchell of Georgia; sister, Sharri McCullough of South Carolina; brother, David (Jill) Moore of St. Charles, KY; grandchildren, William Mitchell, David Mitchell, Katie Martin, Blake Martin, and Miles Mitchell.A celebration of Brian's life with friends and family will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2695 Country Club Drive, Madisonville, KY, 42431.
