Brian Allen Cunningham

Brian Allen Cunningham, 60, of West Frankfort, Illinois, passed away on March 10, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on May 26, 1965, in Rochelle, Illinois, to John Maxey Cunningham and Geraldine Cunningham, Brian graduated from Thompsonville High School before serving in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany and created many cherished memories.

He married Beth Cunningham on November 2, 2001, on Z100 radio station, and she survives him. Brian leaves behind his children, Amber (Kurt) Harris, Holly (Brian) Blades, Brian (Bianca) Cunningham, Bree (Hunter) Cunningham, and Jeffrey (Kara) Cunningham, as well as his brothers and sisters, John (Eva) Cunningham, Mickey (Peggy) Cunningham, Joe (Tina) Cunningham, Dawn (Mike) McCormick, and Barb Loucks. His greatest joy was his grandchildren: Reece Harris, Bailey Harris, Abigail Boshers, Kealoha Boshers, Benson Blades, Enslee Cunningham, Blakely Cunningham, Jerry Clover, and one on the way. He also shared a deep love with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brian was known for his quick wit and generous heart. A natural comedian, he loved making others laugh and brought joy to countless people as a DJ at weddings, fundraisers, and special events. He had a remarkable ability to turn every visitor into family, offering warm hospitality and fierce protection to those he loved. Deeply faithful, he was an active member of Thompsonville Church of God. His presence, laughter, and love will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
