Brett Christopher Springfield

Brett Christopher Springfield, age 29, of Rison, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born on June 16, 1996, in Jefferson County to Christopher and Donna Springfield, Brett was a devoted son, father, brother, and friend who lived a life marked by quiet achievement and genuine warmth.

A graduate with honors from Rison High School and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Brett went on to build a career as an electrical engineer with Southwest Power Pool in Little Rock. He found joy in the outdoors and creative pursuits, spending his free time golfing, fishing, playing paintball, gaming, and playing his guitar.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Shaylinn Springfield; his parents, Chris and Donna Springfield; his sister, Amber Hipp, and her husband, Bo; his two nephews, Luke and Grayson Hipp; his grandmother, Judy Springfield; his aunts, Amanda Williams and her husband, Wesley, and Sheri Johnson; his uncle, Mike Banks, and his wife, Tammy; his special cousin, Alexis Cash; and many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mike Springfield, BC Reynolds, and Ermalee Reynolds, and his great-grandparents, Van and Nadine Jones.
