She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Stella Hall Smith; and her husband Bobby Lynn Doby Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Doby Jr. (Wendy), Chad Doby (Jessica Post) and Tracey Gomez (Chris); and her grandchildren, Joshua Gomez (Kayla), Jordan Gomez and Brittany Woods Kirsten (Austin). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (1500 N Main St, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
