Brenda Sue Holliday
May 26, 1950— March 6, 2026
Virginia Beach, VA
Brenda Sue Holliday was born on May 26, 1950, in Salisbury, Maryland, and passed away on March 6, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her life reflected quiet resilience, deep love for her family, and an appreciation for the simple beauties found in everyday moments.
She took great pleasure in crocheting, creating intricate pieces that mirrored the care and patience she brought to all aspects of her life. Her flower garden served as a cherished sanctuary, where she tended vibrant blooms with the same nurturing spirit she showed her loved ones. A woman of quiet faith, Brenda found spirituality in the ordinary miracles around her and took pride in her work, particularly as a presser at Ace Uniform in Maryland. Yet it was in her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that she found her greatest purpose and left her most lasting impact.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert V. Holliday, Sr., with whom she built a home filled with laughter and enduring love. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Holly; her three sons, Robert Jr. (Debbie), Steven, and William; her grandchildren, Steven Jr., Morgan, Jonathan, and Carmen; her great-grandchildren, Paisley, Colton, Adalinne, Ayla, Kayden, and Maverick; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who held her dear. She is also survived by her parents, Cleveland Phillip Robinson, Sr. and Eunice Estelle Miller.
In keeping with her wishes, Brenda was laid to rest beside her husband at the Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and cared for so deeply.
