Brenda Sue Boggs

Brenda Sue Boggs, age 70, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Lovell and Louisa Boggs, Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William Boggs.

She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Clarence Murphy of Stearns, Kentucky; daughters Jackie Jones and her companion Michael Bowlin of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Vinie Boggs of Strunk, Kentucky; brother Wendell Boggs of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters Rhonda Boggs of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sandra Boggs of Florida; grandchildren Joshue Stephens and Lexie; and great-grandchild Clarence Stephens.

A Christian who cherished her family above all, Brenda found quiet joy in working crossword puzzles, watching television shopping channels, fishing, and reading. She spent many years as a factory worker and later as a cook for the Forest Service.
