Brenda Rose

Brenda Rose was born on January 11, 1967, in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late John Warren and Rosetta Hooper Rose. She passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.

After moving to Chicago, Brenda graduated from high school. She later settled in Lexington, Kentucky, where she became a devoted member of the Star of Bethlehem Baptized Pentecostal Church of Holiness. One of her favorite scriptures was Matthew 7:24-27. She worked for many years in the University of Kentucky Neurology Department until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Walter Hooper, Jimmy Hooper, Vertin Collins, Randolph Collins, Donald Collins, and John Warren Jr., and one sister, Windola Adams. Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her two sisters, Nicole Taylor and Joyceann Warren; three brothers, Ronnie Warren, Johnny Warren, and David Warren; her sister-in-law, Tammy Collins; three aunts, Barbara Jackson, Mary Walker, and her special aunt Betty Warren; a host of nieces and nephews, including her special nephew who was like a brother, Arthur Warren; two special friends, Thomassina Brooks and Lisa Morgan; and her beloved Star Church Family, along with many cousins and friends.
