Brenda Kay (Evilsizer) Monti

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Evilsizer and Edna Evilsizer; her husband Thomas Monti; her brother Bob Evilsizer; and her mother-in-law Josephine Monti.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Monti (Mindy) of League City, Michael Monti (Emily) of Herrin and Daniel Monti of Coello, Illinois; her stepgranddaughter Olivia; and her sister Judy. She is also survived by several extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (209 N Emma St, Christopher, IL 62822). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery (412 E Washington St, Christopher, IL 62822).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis CARE (Community Animal Rescue and Education) in Murphysboro, Illinois, or to St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery.
