She was known for her caring nature and the way she always looked out for others. With her beautiful curly hair and warm presence, Brenda left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Brenda loved working in the school system and deeply cared about the children she worked with. Her coworkers valued her greatly and she made such an impact on those around her. Brenda's caring nature extended to everything around her. She always made sure the birds and other animals in the backyard had plenty of fresh water and food.She also loved fashion, but she loved a good deal even more. She could happily spend hours searching thrift stores for special finds. Brenda loved collecting small decorative pieces-elephants, owls, birds, plants, etc-that she carefully placed around her home and backyard, creating a warm and welcoming space that reflected her caring personality.She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mike Hopfner; her sons, Michael and Todd; her granddaughter, Holly; her two sisters, Linda and Lori and many other beloved family members.Brenda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
