Brenda Faye Gibson

Brenda Faye Gibson, née Jarolimek, age 78, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2026.

Brenda lived a life centered on family and friends, offering a listening ear, a funny story, or a thoughtful message to those she cared about. She devoted herself to her loved ones and found her greatest joy in the kitchen, where she shared her home-cooked meals and baked goods with her whole heart. Whether preparing holiday dinners or decorating her famous cookies, she expressed her love through the food she created for the people around her.

She is survived by her children, Jeremy Gibson, Ryan Estes, Jennifer Estes, and Christopher Wilkerson; her grandson, Dakota Estes; and her siblings, Bege Smith, Sherry and Jerry Cepak, Randy and Ann Marie Jarolimek, and Sandy and Mark Rickman. She is also survived by many other cherished friends and family members, including cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Leslie Scott Cude, and her parents, Leslie and Elaine Jarolimek, and Bobby and Freddie Smith.
