Brenda Cotten

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Cotten of Meadville, Mississippi, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frederick Buckels and Theria Dee Hutto Buckels; and her sister Janet Sharon Buckels. She is survived by: her husband Larry Cotten; her children, Tanji Ayers (Chris) and Kevin Cotten (Andrea); her grandchildren, Zack Cotten, Luke Cotten, Jacob Cotten and Tessa Allen (Sky); her siblings, Gary Buckels (Pat), Christine Dunn (Roger) and Judy Holland (Bobby); and her aunt Mary Buckels. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Siloam Baptist Church (8031 US-98, Meadville, MS 39653). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Baptist Children's Village & Family Ministries.
