Brenda Cherry

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Goudeau and Lorraine Goudeau; her siblings, Thomas Jr., Albert and Linda; and her former husband Eugene Cherry.

She is survived by: her sons, Ryan Goudeau (Fern) and Brandon Cherry (Ketura); her grandchildren, Jordan Goudeau Arnold (Deron), Kayla Goudeau and Solomon Goudeau Cherry; her great grandchild Seraphim Arnold; her goddaughter Leah Sulony; her sisters, Cathy Goudeau and Joni Rivarde (Louis); and her significant other Alvin Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church (5621 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
