Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19th at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Jackson and Rev. Lucius Youngblood officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Church Cemetery.Mrs. Leverette was born in Gordon, Georgia on October 8, 1945, to the late Joel Grady Bentley and Gladys Lillian Whitaker Bentley. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter F. "Freddy" Leverette and her brother Billy Ross Bentley. She was an Executive Secretary with the Georgia War Veterans Home and retired with 34 years of service. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and served as the church pianist.Survivors include her nephew Buster Bentley, (Carol) of McIntyre, her niece Shelia Bentley Mathews of McIntyre, sister-in-law Mary Eilzabeth Bentley of McIntyre, great nieces and nephews Joel Bentley, Brooke Bentley, Mary Beth Mercer, Bentley Mathews, and 4 great great-nieces.The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Moores Funeral Home.Friends who wish may make memorial contribution to Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
