October 8, 1994— March 7, 2026
Hamilton, GA
Brantley Elias “Eli” Satterfield, 31, of Hamilton, Georgia, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia. Born in Columbus on October 8, 1994, to Richard and Elizabeth Satterfield, Eli was his mother’s bubble child and the apple of his father’s eye. From an early age, he displayed a bold and determined spirit, unafraid to pursue what he wanted. He never met a stranger, and his larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
Eli attended Harris County schools and graduated with the class of 2013. As an adult, he remained outgoing and deeply compassionate, becoming a good listener whose words often changed lives. In 2025, he was ordained as a minister. He worked as shop foreman at Rogers Metal Craft, where he truly enjoyed his job, his coworkers, and his boss. Above all, Eli was a devoted father who cherished every moment with his son, Brantley. The two spent countless hours on the golf course, at the ballfield, and simply being together. Eli taught his son about God through his own example, playing with him and praying with him, and he took great pride in his namesake.
Eli was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Satterfield, and his maternal grandparents, Brenda and Lamar Livingston. He is survived by his son, Brantley Elias Satterfield II of Hamilton; Brantley’s mother, Hailey Flynn of Harris County; his mother, Elizabeth Satterfield of Hamilton; his brother, Jeremy Satterfield (Liz) of Columbus; his sisters, Carol Cox (Chris) of Salem, Alabama, Marla Smiley (Octavias) of LaGrange, and Kelli Craig (George) of Johnston, South Carolina; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
