Bradley Mason Skinner

Bradley Mason Skinner, born March 31, 1949 in Marshall, Texas, to Thomas and Zelma Skinner, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends on March 5, 2026. One of four boys, Bradley grew up in Marshall where he graduated from Marshall High School and built the strong roots of family, faith, and friendship that guided him throughout his life.

Soon after graduation, he married the love of his life, Margaret Skinner. Their marriage of more than 45 years was filled with devotion, laughter, and the joy of raising their two children together. Bradley never met a stranger. Known for his sweet spirit, caring heart, and warm smile, he made everyone around him feel welcome. His faith was central to his life, and he walked closely with the Lord, allowing that faith to guide his words, actions, and love for others.

Bradley enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved fishing, working with his hands, building things, and spending time around motorcycles. In later years, he discovered a new joy in traveling and embraced every opportunity to see new places and make new memories. After the passing of his beloved wife Margaret in 2012, he learned to cook for himself and created a family favorite—his chili—which quickly became a beloved tradition at family gatherings.

Bradley was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Skinner; his sons, John David Skinner and Joey Mason Skinner; his parents, Zelma and Thomas Skinner; his special friend, Darlene Klenk; and his brothers, Thomas Eugene Skinner and Marin Clayton Skinner.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his daughters, Kim Robinson and her husband Jack, and Terri Brown and her husband Allen; his grandchildren, Megan, Jonathan, Austin and his wife Anastasia, Lisa and her fiancé Anthony Davis, Alan and his fiancée Alexis Foster, and Katlyn; his great-grandchildren, Nova and Aeris, Daldon Robinson, Janelynn Robinson, Stetson Robinson, Galilee Robinson, Chole Robinson, Maycie Patterson and Layla Patterson; his brother Stanley Skinner and his wife Joan; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Bradley’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will be remembered for his kindness, his faith, his strong hands that built so much for those he loved, and his welcoming spirit that made everyone feel like family.
