Bradley “Brad” James Huff, 76, of Marion, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Born on August 27, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Clarence “Jake” and Marcella (Dvorsky) Huff, Brad graduated from Jefferson High School in 1967. On April 11, 1970, he married Rexanna Rae Stick, who preceded him in death on November 27, 1997. He later married Audrey Schall on June 30, 2000, and together they blended their families into one.

For more than four decades, Brad worked as a semi-truck driver. He spent 23 years with ABF Freight Systems, where he served 21 years as Union Steward for Teamsters Local 238 and 19 years on the Executive Board. After retiring, he continued driving for Duggan Trucking, staying true to his love of the open road. Brad also cherished time at the family’s summer home in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and their winter home in Alamo, Texas, where he created countless memories with loved ones.

An avid stockcar racer since 1965, Brad’s talent and dedication earned him induction into the Hawkeye Downs Hall of Fame in August 2024. He is remembered as a skilled driver, a respected leader, and a man who embraced life with perseverance and adventure.

Brad is survived by his wife of 25 years, Audrey Huff of Marion; his children, John Huff (Sheila Oyler) of Center Point, Iowa, Jamie (Tricia) Huff of Toddville, Iowa, Debbie (Tim) Weber of Marion, and Michelle (Josh) Lawless of Tiffin, Iowa; son-in-law Seth Browning of Overland Park, Kansas; nine grandchildren, Ian (Ella) Huff, Olivia Huff (Connor Petersen), Brandon (Kenzie) Huff, Jacob Huff, Phillip (Cortney) Weber, Evan Weber, Melina Schall, Chloe Browning, and Lauren Browning; one great-grandson, Callahan Huff; his brother, Dean (Pam) Huff of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Rexanna, and his daughter Caroline “Carrie” Browning.
